How to Approach Women and What to Do

How to Approach Women

What you should do is to think your way through your body language moves the same way you think your way through your spoken approach. When you first approach the girl you should endeavor to look directly into her eyes and smile. Try to hold your gaze evenly and calmly while you talk. But you need not look directly into her eyes all the time. You can move your gaze towards other parts of her body and to surrounding objects. But always return your gaze back to her eyes. All eye movements should be careful and unhurried. In fact, all your movements should be deliberate, not jerky and nervous. Your speech should be calm and well paced. Try to act cool. Try to place your body mostly facing her squarely, with feet a little apart. You can shift weight on your feet occasionally (and change your footing) to relieve monotony. Consciously prevent yourself from keeping your hands together (except momentarily). Keep a distance just a little closer to her than feels normal, lean a little towards her.

All this may seem a little much to remember in full detail. But the main thing is to get the general idea: think confidence into your actions.

If you are able to discipline your body language in this way, your whole approach to the girl will seem right. You will know you are giving a convincing performance. Thus your confidence will be raised, and you will feel like you want to continue, even if the girl is showing signs of reluctance.

The example given was typical of a situation where the pick-up moves were commenced immediately on approaching the girl. But in situations where a more casual approach was made first, such as in waiting situations, the more positive body language should be delayed until you make your serious approach.
